After 3 years, it's time to say farewell to the temporary layout sections. The last couple of days I've spent dismantling wiring and trackwork, as well as tidying up and removing all the clutter that has been accumulating on top of the layout over time.
It took some time, but finally I got startet on the 2018 season
In February 2010, I started building my first sectional layout; a point-to-point shelf layout in a small storage room measuring 2 by 3 meters, with the door located on one of the short walls.

Almost 3 years ago, the layout was prepared for planting, with gardening soil covered with weed cloth and a top layer of bark. Now, the next step is highly overdue, and this weekend I went to a local Garden center and did some shopping!
