After 3 years, it's time to say farewell to the temporary layout sections. The last couple of days I've spent dismantling wiring and trackwork, as well as tidying up and removing all the clutter that has been accumulating on top of the layout over time.
Here's a small travelogue from my very first trip with a new caravan. The trip went to Elgå in Engerdal municipality, southeastern Norway, as far north as one gets with a car on the east side of the lake Femunden, Norway's third largest lake and the largest one not regulated.
In February 2010, I started building my first sectional layout; a point-to-point shelf layout in a small storage room measuring 2 by 3 meters, with the door located on one of the short walls.
